This week’s theme for LensProtoGo’s 52 Week Project was “Fire”. I thought it was going to be a challenge to keep up with the project while I was out visiting my family in San Diego, but it turns out that I got the perfect chance! We had a fire in the pit in the backyard on Christmas Eve and made s’mores. Not just any s’mores either. Want to know a life changing secret that I learned here in the South? Replace the Hershey’s bar with a Reese’s cup…your welcome.

But it was a great time to be with my family around the pit and I got some nice shots of hot embers and flames.
