This week’s theme from LensProtoGo’s 52 Week Project was “Vegetables”. My friends from Illinois we’re visiting and I knew somehow I needed to incorporate their beautiful daughter into my photos. She has this gorgeous red hair and I just envisioned her playing with carrots as orange red as her hair. And I went to the store looking for carrots that still had the greenery, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to find them, but there they were, right at Bi-Lo.

She had a lot of fun chewing on carrots, feeding them to my dogs, it was great. And I really love her face in this photo.

I used my Cheetah Softbox with a SB-600 and my Nikon D90.
