This week’s LensProtoGo’s 52 Week Project theme was “Summer”. I had this idea of light writing with sparklers and spelling “summer”. I wasn’t a hundred percent sure it would be possible, and after several tries of spelling summer backwards I nailed it, and I am really proud of the results.
I set up my camera on a tripod, put it on manual, set the ISO to 200, aperture at f/10 (anything lower was too much light for the amount of time I needed to actually write the word) and my shutter was open for 15 secs. And I kept moving while spelling so my body wouldn’t appear in the shot.
My photo also appeared in the “best of” for the theme, read and see more “best ofs” here: http://www.lensprotogoblog.com/lptg52-week-29-wrap-up-summer/
