This is another shot for LensProtoGo’s 52 Week contest. This week’s theme was “Paper Airplane”. So I sat in my living room, youtube’d how to make a good paper airplane (I kinda forgot how, and mine have never been very good—don’t judge!) and started folding away. Then I made my husband throw them in the air multiple times while I took the photo. He did not appreciate having to repeatedly pick up 20 planes scattered about the yard right after he just spent all night on duty.
So here is my paper airplane…or in this case, “planes”. Apparently being operated by untrained pilots that really like the sun.
This was my favorite shot, I like the burst of the sun, the contrast, the light through the paper…not to mention that it was really fun to make a bunch of paper airplanes this morning.
And to boot, I found out that I won the top prize for the quarter! Instead of just giving a prize at the end, they are also giving quarter prizes. I won Perfect Photo Suite 6 by onOne Software. Looks pretty awesome, can’t wait to use it! I am so grateful and pumped to win something, there are so many great photogs in this contest. See the rest of the winners here.
