Last night, me, Kevin and my sister Allie (who’s an amazing weaver, so check her out!) all went down to the Scottsdale waterfront to check out Canal Convergence 2018. I really love light installations—the bright color, the contrast against the dark night, the glow—I just can’t get enough! It didn’t seem like there are as many pieces as last year, and the crowd size was last night was pretty small. Easily could check out the exhibits and get close and easily walk around. It was super cold though and windy, and even randomly started to rain? Ok Phoenix, calm down, remember who you are. But it probably contributed to the low-key-ness of it all this year.
There’s food trucks, live music, beer garden and some hands-on activites too, so I definitely recommend if you’re in the area to check out. Kid-friendly too!
